KAM provided key cost management support on British Land’s first best-in-class multi-level industrial unit in London, including futureproofing for multiple tenant occupancy.
The site was a former council car compound which has restricted access to all boundaries, including residential properties and business parks. KAM and the project team worked together to ensure a scheme achieved the appropriate design.
KAM supported the client in providing accurate costs by working with the design team and sustainability consultant, a source of reassurance for British Land and the overall project budget.
The project was built to a base build specification designed to meet strict carbon reduction requirements and achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating, with the capacity to reach Outstanding. The project includes central cores with goods lifts, cycle lifts, office space and the flexibility to house multiple tenants.
