Delivery of seven energy-efficient units tailored to site and land-use constraints.
The development comprises seven units ranging from 20,000 sq ft to 270,000 sq ft.
The units achieved BREEAM Excellent and included 15% roof lights, 20% EV charging points, 2.5MVA site wide power supply, FM2 flooring, 7-10m clear internal height, PV to 10% regulated energy, and minimum 50kN/m2 floor loading.
The site is located adjacent to Shoreham Airport, and on the boundary with the South Downs National Park. KAM collaborated closely with the project team to ensure the scheme was designed appropriately for the surroundings and constructed in line with the adjacent land users’ restrictions.
