Completed by
Large-scale residential demolition and construction project.
This project was developed over many years by Wokingham Borough Council and development manager, Wilson Bowden, and brought a significant improvement to the town centre.
The first phase comprised demolition works carried out adjacent to a busy highway and above retail units that were still in occupation.
The main construction phase of the project involved the build of four separate buildings, including 27 high-end residential units and 18 shell-and-core shop units.
KAM played a key role in managing both commercial tenants and homeowners and ensured expectations were met and managed. The team also oversaw complex site logistics, including significant traffic re-routing to maintain accessibility during the works.
KAM were site based and responsible for managing the change process, ensuring that the client and multiple occupiers’ requirements were met.
