Transformation of a former NATO airbase into a major distribution centre.

Frasers Group is developing a major distribution centre on approximately 52 hectares of the former NATO airbase in Bitburg, Germany. The initial phase includes the construction of two logistics halls (Unit A and Unit B), each comprising office space, social and ancillary facilities, delivery zones and dedicated parking areas. Together, the two units will offer a gross floor area of around 127,000 square metres.

The site development also includes the construction of essential infrastructure such as access control buildings (gatehouses), transformer stations, sprinkler control centres, sprinkler tanks, cisterns, and a rainwater retention basin, supporting both operational efficiency and sustainability goals.

KAM have been working on behalf of Frasers on a large complex redevelopment scheme for a number of years and we have been very happy with the service they provide. Tobias and his team have provided very effective project management expertise in a variety of areas and with numerous stakeholders, both in the private and public sectors. We continue to have an excellent working relationship with the KAM team.
