KAM was appointed as cost manager and employer’s agent on TCC European Logistics’ second site acquisition. The project involved demolition works and the construction of a 370,000 sq ft speculative Grade A logistics facility.
Situated less than a mile from the M1 within central Sheffield, the development was delivered to net zero carbon standards, achieving both BREEAM Excellent certification and an EPC A rating.
The role involved S278 works, utility diversions, and the coordination of multiple partial possessions during demolition to enable a phased handover of the warehouse to the employer.
Key challenges included the site’s constrained location, which required third-party negotiations with Network Rail and the Canal & River Trust.
