Multi-Temperature Warehouse

We were appointed by Segro and Bidfood to design the building services associated with the developer’s base build, tenants’ enhancement, and fit out of a new distribution centre in Bedford.

The multi-temperature food distribution facility consists of a primary ambient distribution warehouse complete with multi-temperature storage chambers for chill, produce and frozen products, utilising an ammonia direct refrigeration system.

On completion, the facility became the most energy-efficient in Bidfood’s UK network.
