The construction of two high-rise apartment blocks with an emphasis on sustainability.
Tura is located on the banks of the River Aire, near Leeds Central train station and opposite Leeds employment district, Wellington Place. The project comprises two blocks of 17 storeys, accommodating 500 build-to-rent residential apartments with commercial space on the ground floor. The project also includes over 15,000 sq ft of exceptional resident amenities, along with retail, and leisure units on the ground and first floors. This is complemented by expansive terrace gardens overlooking the River Aire.
Abacus are providing employer’s agent and cost management services on this project, with the development having a strong emphasis on sustainability, prioritising the health and wellbeing of the residents. The residential building is a key component of the wider masterplan, and its transformative impact on this stretch of the riverside will benefit residents, visitors and the wider community.
