ESP have been engaged continuously by Wickes Building Supplies since 1998 when they embarked upon a major DIY store expansion and refit programme.
Wickes now has 230 stores across the UK and ESP has been involved across the whole estate in all aspects of new build, acquisition, and refit projects.
A typical Wickes DIY store comprise 15,000 sq ft to 20,000 sq ft of retail space, either a ground or mezzanine showroom, and an amenity block, along with an outdoor projects centre, loading bay and carparking.
Additionally, ESP have completed head office fit-out and distribution centre projects.
ESP’s ongoing responsibilities include preparing and managing their standard services specification, as well as providing Wickes with strategic, tactical, and operational advice in relation to all building services, energy modelling, and sustainability requirements.
